I’m in LOVE…….. my life was fine….. until she blew my mind!
Just recently, the gorgeous Kim-Marie from Kimba Likes introduced me to Amanda Watson from The Perfect LBD and I instantly fell in love with both the designer and her fabulous Little Black Dresses. I’d been looking for the perfect dress to pull off an impressive style challenge that has been on my blog bucket list and knew straight away, I was in the right place! LBD heaven in fact.

With so many dresses to choose from, I started with the Dress My Shape style guide. It’s an incredibly helpful tool, if you are clueless like me when it comes to dressing for your shape. From there I added my favourite dresses to the online wish list. In the end, my wish list was still looking pretty long, so with some help from The Perfect LBD creator herself, I’ve selected six of my favourite dresses. They are all suited to my pear body shape and all just perfect for any occasion.
I love the concept behind The Perfect LBD …for every woman, any age, any body shape and every occasion. It quite possibly is the only dress you will need in your wardrobe. To prove my point, and to put The Perfect LBD to the test, I plan on selecting one dress from my top six which I will style 52 different ways (one style a week), using accessories from designer friends and my extensive existing wardrobe.
That’s right…. I’m planning on styling the ONE dress 52 WAYS!!
I’m also going to attempt to wear one of the six dresses at each and every event I attend this year! You name the event, I will be wearing The Perfect LBD. Although having said that, I’m not including the 5k Color Rad Run I’ve signed up for in May as a LBD event. Or should I? I think I should stick to style events. For now.
