In one way our guest this week, Kelly Exeter, needs no introduction at all, but if you look at how much Kelly has achieved and all she is involved with her introduction really should be two blogs long.
Today we catch up for a quick Five in Five with the woman who managed to write a thought provoking book in 18 days, is bringing ProBlogger Darren Rowse to Perth later this month and all while running a successful business and a blog, with two small children (her baby is just 10 months).

1. Tell us a bit about yourself, your blog and your new book?
I’m a mother of two, wife of one, business owner, writer, designer and blogger. I blog at A Life Less Frantic which is all about living more intentionally and showing that a busy life need not be a frantic life. In January this year I released my first book Your Best Year Yet: 7 simple ways to shift your thinking and take charge of your life. It’s a short and sweet read geared towards changing people’s thinking about common things that hold us back in life. One reviewer described it as“Perfect for anyone who wants a quick and easy read with some immediately actionable advice – a fresh, honest look at what’s stopping you.” which was a real thrill because it’s just what I was aiming for.

2. What’s on your Worth Casing list?
Blogs I adore (like choosing a favourite child but here are three of my current faves): Maxabella Loves because I love the way Bron looks at the world, Sonia Styling because I just adore Son’s realness and Absolute Amy because we’re at roughly the same point of motherhood (two kids of similar ages) trying to juggle everything and be awesome at it all … and it’s always nice to know there’s someone else out there feeling the same way as you!
Online shopping: I have to stay away from Down That Little Lane because I want to buy everything there. And oh my god, Sonia shared this on Facebook today and I want to marry it.
Lusting after: The illustrations of Megan Hess. She did the cover for Kirstie Clement’s latest book Tongue in Chic and I’ve been following her on Instagram ever since. I just love her style.
3. If we ventured into your wardrobe what would it say about you and what’s your favourite or most worn piece?
My wardrobe would say ‘this girl had a baby 10 months ago and now that her body has pretty much returned to normal, she really needs to go shopping!’ Honestly, I am rotating between about five pieces at the moment – it’s tragic. It’s nice that my old clothes (from before being pregnant) fit again, but they are horribly outdated, and not very flattering!
My favourite piece is a long black cardi from Intimo. It’s so comfy and flattering and I wear it every day at the moment because the boys in the office like to set the room temperature at ‘Antarctica’.
4. What is your ideal date night?
Lying on a double chaise couch at home with my husband watching a movie. Yep, that’s it. Please don’t make us leave the house. Just take care of our kids and leave us be to lie on the couch and chill out together without anyone demanding our attention!
5. If you had a theme song what would it be and why?
Probably ‘Running’ by Evermore. I tend to need to learn everything the hard way. So whenever I hear these lyrics I am reminded that there might be a better way!
You don’t need a broken heartTo know a heart can be brokenYou just need to open your eyesWe don’t need to be deceivedTo know a lie can be spokenWe don’t have to learn everything twice
