Five in Five with Brad Ngata

This week we catch up with Perth Fashion Festival (PFF) Hair Director and L’Oréal Professionnel Ambassador Brad Ngata for Five in Five!

We also bring you some behind the scenes shots from PFF of Brad and his team working their magic.

Brad Ngata

How would you describe yourself?

I am a creative soul whose medium is hair. I like to continue to push myself and really love being very artistic. I am definitely a perfectionist and grateful for all of my blessings.

What’s on your Worth Casing list?

There are so many! My favourites are – Baccamatto for Italian tapas, Pablos vice for coffee, the goods or Kawa (favourite place of Miranda Kerr) for the best breakfast, the Lounge or Winery for a drink, Gaybar for a dance and Palms for a dance to eighties disco. They’re all in Darlinghurst and Surry hills.

What would be the ultimate ‘gig’ or career highlight for you?

I would love to direct a show at Paris Fashion week during the Haute Couture shows and really go crazy with the hair. Plus, it wouldn’t be too bad to have all the French fashion houses demanding my services!

What is your ideal date night?

Nothing makes me happier than a home cooked meal, enjoying time with my partner and little puppy or a casual movie night.

If you had a theme song what would it be and why?

Faith by George Michael. I have faith in everything and once you do, life is an amazing experience.

Thanks Brad, just loved watching you at work here in Perth and really looking forward to ‘casing’ some of your favourite places next time I’m in Sydney. Palms for an 80s disco is going on the top of my list!  Mystery xx
