Hi, I’m Raychael, founder of Mystery Case. I thought it only fitting, in my first official post, that I should take some of the mystery out of Mystery Case by introducing myself and briefly touch on where we are heading.
Why Mystery Case? For the most part, when I’m asked what I do for a living, I struggle to reply because even for me it’s often a bit of a mystery, it changes from one week to the next and no two weeks are ever the same. Having moved around the country 22 times in my 40ish years, following my husband’s work, I’ve needed to adapt my career in line with the work opportunities that come my way and that fit in around our lifestyle and our three gorgeous girls.
It was after our 20th move, in 2006, when I was having trouble with child minding and not being able to source family friendly employment that I decided to start my own business and become a Virtual Assistant. Being a Virtual Assistant can mean different things to different people. For me it means doing “virtually anything” for my clients from auditing, editing, events, market research, merchandising, reviews, social media and everything else in between.
The constant moving often felt like we were living out of a suitcase and there was always that element of mystery, as you never quite knew when or where the case would be needed next. It was the move to Perth, just over three years ago, which finally saw our “mystery case” unpacked, providing me with an opportunity to expand my business locally and also start my first blog.
In launching this platform, I’m looking forward to bringing the review and market research side of my business to the table as well as sharing with you my favourite people, products and places from my travels together with the delights of Perth, a place I’m really enjoying calling home.
My overall aim is for the blog to evolve into a collaborative effort between friends and blogging buddies I meet along the way, who don’t have the time or the inclination to start their own blog but would like an outlet to showcase their skills, talents and passions.

I look forward to sharing my Mystery Case with you!
